I’m going to work with leopards next month and am getting together my stuff to pack. I’ve been advised to get walking boots but I don’t know which ones are the best and reasonably priced. I saw these on ebay:

They will be fine and appears to have good ankle support. Wear thick socks with it and change daily to prevent blisters. You may be housed in a communal setting and will use standard shower facilities also shared by others. . . Be sure to bring a pair of shower shoes ‘jap flaps’ to be worn during showers etc., it will minimize athlete’s foot infection or other fungal contact.
I don’t know what you are willing to spend, but these look perfect to me! They will be warm, comfortable and protecting. And they don’t look horrible!
